Many names yet basically one hat . . . Number Cruncher, Bean Counter, and “Hooray for paychecks!”
In a word I am the Bookkeeper. Many years ago Marianne’s father was the reigning Bookkeeper. I provided services to Atlanta Out Loud while working for their IT vendors. I offered to assist Ole Man Hunt for a couple of weeks with the quarterly forecasting and budget preparation. Who knew that those two weeks would lead to a decade’s long career! Little did I know that I would end up working with Atlanta Out Loud for many years to come.
Back in 2001 when I began working at Atlanta Out Loud I had about 12 years of experience as a Bookkeeper. Now I have over 26 years of on-the-job bookkeeping experience under my belt. I have seen many great changes in this company since my beginning back in 2001. I am so proud to have been a part of them all.
I have an affinity for numbers as well as for people and art. Sometimes it’s a challenge to resolve the figures but I so love working together to get it all sorted out! It’s one thing to understand numbers – tis a greater thing to understand the people behind those numbers! People drive the bottom line and it has been a true blessing and a great fortune to me to have been a part of Atlanta Out Loud and the work they provide.
In my free time . . . free? time?! haha! I love to illustrate and create custom crafts in a variety of media. I love reading and definitely traveling. Camping and sitting around the campfire is a precious luxury to me and one which I try to indulge in at least twice a year. Currently it seems I run a home for geriatric animals. Both of my wonderful dogs and my one awesome cat are all over 15 years old!
